One extra piece I would have is to make sure that there is a slide with the panelists names on it (preferably in the order they are sitting). As an audience member, I sometimes lose track and then am shy about asking a question of a specific panel member. This is particularly useful if there has been a last minute substitution. People like animated panels, and part of what breeds that is disagreement and controversy. So a healthy, but respectful, level of pitting panelists against each other, or the moderator calling 'bs' on a panelist assertion, works.
