I was starting to work on something before leaving Colorado Springs - but my day job kept getting in the way. What first inspired me was when I first read Laurence Gonzales' book, <i>Deep Survival</i> http://www.deepsurvival.com/ - the first time. He dissects various survival situations, including the one some of my former colleagues were involved in on Mt. Hood a few years ago, and talks about why some lived and why some died. I easily extrapolated this into "real world" situations, as have several major corporations (noted on his website). I contacted him a couple of years ago to see about getting him to speak, but I never followed up on it. I would be interested in assisting Legion of Tech in lining up future presenters.
