Rob,

Not being dependent on any one client was a big selling point for me. Assuming I can trust Amazon more than most companies with my data (they're more reliable than most), I can always access my files via some other client or directly with web services if Jungle Disk ever blows up.

I have our photos backed up in Mozy and it totals about 30GB. I calculated how much that would cost directly in S3 and it came out to about $10 more per year than Mozy. Reading this and the previous post makes me want to reconsider. It is nicer to think that any ol' S3 client can get my photos back vs. relying on Mozy software.

Clearspace and Zimbra ehh? How are those two systems working for you? We are seriously looking at these two systems and somehow mashing them up for a unified document management, company portal, collaboration, and communication system.
